Dollar Store Tablescape!!!

I wanted to share with you my new plates I got at the
Dollar Tree!  Yes they were only $1 each, you gotta love
that price:)  I really liked the colors on this plate and
thought that they would go with several different
holidays!

Now here is the finished table scape!
I added a couple of fun accents to the
to the plate arrangement.

Another view:

Here is a picture of the whole table scape:)
I really love the candy corn in the goblets!
I think it is a fun element!

Well I hope enjoyed the table scape!
I guess this coming week I will start working on
my Halloween Decorating:)

Hobby House Retreat!!

Scrapbooking Getaway Weekend:)
Woohoo!!
This past weekend my neighbor and I attended a scrapbook weekend
at the Hobby House right outside of Elizabethtown!  Loved it!
I got so many pages completed and had such a nice time doing it:)
I wanted to share with you some of the pictures of the house and my
finished scrapbook pages:)
Here is a picture of the house we stayed in.
I believe there was a total of 18 ladies that attended the weekend.
It was nice to share ideas, supplies, and hear about great trips,
activities and their families!
Here are a couple of the signs you pass as you go up the driveway to the
house.  I thought they were too cute not to take a picture of!

Here is a picture of the room we stayed in while we slept
which wasn't much:)  I stayed up to almost 3 am scrapbooking!! :)

The page below is of my hubby's birthday from this past July!

I took a close up of the banner, I am pretty proud of the banner
since it took me about 15 minutes to cute out by hand
and attach with brads:)  I think this might be one of my
favorite pages I have done!

This is a page from when we watched my sister-in-law's dog Joker:)
Isn't he the cutest!  I tried to do a little play on words with the title.
I used a picture of a house instead of putting "house guest" :)

This layout is of our trip to LBI with our friends this past summer!
As you can tell I am into the banners lately!

This layout is one of many from our trip last year to Vegas!
I have some many pictures so I try to fit as many as I can on
one page without making it look cluttered!

Below is LO from my ornament exchange party.

Here is a LO from our trip to Valley View Farms!
I love Christmas Trees and love to get ideas so this trip
was great inspiration for this year to come!!

Here is one layout from last Christmas!  I have so many more too
day I will be working on them for the next few holidays to come!

Just a close up of my rosette with another banner:)
Sorry I am addicted!!
I am pretty proud of my rosettes, I am FINALLY getting the
hang of them!

Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures and layouts!
I feel totally inspired after the weekend and have been up in
my scrapbook room/attic every night since:)
This week I am working on birthday cards!

The Witch is In Halloween Wreath!

Well as soon as October 1st comes around I want to start decorating my
dining room for Halloween so I got a little jump start on
a Halloween wreath for my big mirror!

Here is what I started with:
I got this cute little witch on this stand for only $1.49
last year at Ross.  Her legs were broke off but I figured I could do something
fun with her!

I had a plain black wreath left over from
last Halloween so I didn't have to run out to Michael's
this week!  A rare occurrence :)

Next:
Deco Mesh :)
Who ever invented it I love You!!

 The end result:
A fun holiday wreath!
I think she is too cute!

Close up!

Well I hope everyone is having a great week!
I am so excited for Halloween!  I can't wait to start decorating
next week!

I will be linking up with some great blogs:

I love Kristen's Creations, she has the most beautiful decor!
I know you will love seeing all of her gorgeous arrangements!

and of course Debbie Doos Newbie Party!!

Well I guess I better go and start packing for my girls
scrapbooking weekend!

Weekend Wedding!

First of all I love weddings!  They are so much fun!
Good friends of ours got married this past weekend at a beautiful venue
here in PA called Shady Lane.  I believe they have just started having
weddings at location which is really exciting.

Below are a couple of pictures from the day and the location!

Above is the main house on the property.

Another view from the beautiful wooded area.

Ceremony Site:
I love the sunflowers, perfect for an end of Summer wedding :)

I think the cupcake wedding cake idea is really popular right
now!  I loved the chocolate peanut butter!
Of course here is a picture of me and my hubby
before we headed out!

Well I hope every one's week is going great!
I am trying to get everything ready for my girl's
scrapbook weekend coming up this Friday!

I am so excited but still trying to figure out what to take
and not forget anything :)

I hopefully will have a post for your a little later in the
week about the Hobby House Retreat!

I have a huge list of things I want to get done while

Happy Wednesday!

Here Comes Fall & Crown Molding Project Finished!!

Well I don't know about you but I am so excited for Fall!
I love all of the beautiful colors, the cool crisp air, and all of the
good food that comes with the up coming holidays!

I don't know about you but I could go for a piece of a pumpkin roll! :)

Well my wonderful hubby finished our crown molding
in the dining room and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!  He did such a great
job!  I did help with the hanging and cutting but he surprised
me the other night when I came home from my run
with all of it caulked and painted!  It really gives the room
a finished traditional look!

This is a good project inexpensive project that can be done in a
weekend and makes a big difference!

Here are a couple of before & after pictures of our dinning room!
Now we only have 3 rooms to finish down stairs! :)

Before:

After:
The lighting in this picture isn't fantastic but you can
really the whole room from this angle.

I love how it turned out:)

Now onto some fun decorations in the dining room!
I know I am a little early but this way I get to enjoy it a little longer!

Above is my dining room buffet piece that I really like to
decorate for every holiday:)  The wreath on the mirror is one of my awesome
finds from this past weekend at a garage sale.  I picked this beauty up for
only $1.00!!  Woo hoo!  All I had to do was add the bow!

This is another little stand in our dining room.
The cute little scarecrow was also another find at the same garage
sale for only $2.00 :)

Yes............. I have my table set in this picture!
I couldn't help myself I just LOVE Fall!

Here is a close up, I love these pumpkin plates!
They were a last year's find at Home Goods!
Lastly we have our piano in the living room that I
figured needed a few Fall additions!

Well I believe that is it for now!
So are you too getting ready for Fall?

Have a great weekend!

Dressing Room Ideas???

My current project is a grown up dressing room in my
spare bedroom.  I think it would be nice to have a designated
area to get ready in the morning.  I know it sounds like something
a diva would say but..................... how fun are these spaces? :)

I love the vintage mirror in the above room!

I just love this white armoure cabinet.

Now here is the ultimate dressing room, I don't think I would have
enough clothes and shoes to fill it:)  Well maybe and I
didn't I sure would try!

I think my hubby would agree with the above statement!
:)

Now here is another pretty space, I love that beautiful chandalier!

Ok now...............
Onto my current project/workspace.

This is the corner of the room where I started to make into my
dressing room area.  I don't think I am going to invest in a
makeup table right now because I actually have really great lighting
in our bathroom.  In the corner I have " Shirley" my manquin!  I picked
her up at a garage sale last year for only $8, I think she looks
pretty with a scarf on!  It is nice to use her if you are trying to figure
out if something will look good together.
In the canvas baskets in the white cabinet, I store all of my scarves by color and
season, and in the bottow of the cabinet I store
extra jewlery that doesn't fit in my jewelry box.
I still have a few things in the room that I am working on but
thought I would share what I have done so far.

Here is another angle of the room!

Well I hope everyone is having a great week!
I actually have a lot of my Fall decorating finished inside and
hope to share it with you this Friday so stop back by

If you have any fun ideas for the space feel free to share!

Happy Wednesday!

This Old House LOVE!!

Well it's official my husband is going to block HGTV from
our television:)  I keep getting all of these ideas I think we should do around our
house and I am causing him more work!   I hate to admit it but I think he is right! :)

We have an old house with a lot of character and I am always wanting to change things
which is a great idea but time and money never seem to happen at the
same time:)  So I think over the next couple of months we are going to pick a couple
of projects and work on them in the colder months when we don't have as
much yard work to do!

I think this month our project is going to be crown molding in the dining room:)
I love the look of crown molding and how it really makes your wall color pop!

I will be sure to take before and after pictures!

Below are a few pictures of beautiful farm houses/older styled homes.
These houses are actually brand new manufactured homes from Connor Homes.
They offer beautiful brand new manufactured homes with the style and all of the
character of an old home, which I LOVE:)
Check out their website to see some of the other styles they offer:

Here are a few of my favorites!
Look at this beautiful porch!

I love the black shutters!

Look at this kitchen!!
I love the fireplace and of course this beautiful island!!

Here are a few more of their models that I think have so much character!

So now that we are headed into Fall what is on your agenda??
A House Project,
Vacation?
Or a Whole Lot of Football:)

I can't wait I am going to start putting out my Fall decorations this week!
Happy Tuesday!
