Frankenstorm Is Here!!

Well I am sure if you have been watching the weather you
know that the North East is getting hit by hurricane
"Sandy" or better known as "Frankenstorm"!!

I am normally off on Mondays so this worked out well for
me today to stay around the house and out of the weather!

As long as we don't loose power I hope to be up in my
craft room working away today!  I normally have errands
to do on Monday but I decided to stay home in case things got bad!

So if you live in this area where the storm is be careful in
your travels!  I hope to have a few projectes to share with you
later this week!

Be safe and Happy Monday!

Scrapbook Attic Space & Halloween Cards!

Well I finally have a couple of pictures to share with you
of my new Scrapbook room in our attic!
It's finally coming together!  It is not fancy and nothing really
matches but I feel very blessed to have this much space devoted just
to me and all of my goodies!  It is a pretty big space which is nice because I can spread out
and make a mess and not worry about anyone seeing it!

In the above picture this is my extra work space for cutting
paper of if I have a friend over they can work here as well.  Most
of this wall area is devoted to card stock and paper!  You can never have too much
paper:)
Above there is a picture of my work space.  I have my table in the middle
of the room so I can easily move around and find
what I need for each project!  I love this project desk!  It was
a Just Cabinets find:)

Now over to the left of my personal work space I have
part of my ribbon collection, wrapping station, and my Cricut
cutting area.  Having all of my crafting supplies in one area really
makes it handy!

Since having this space and finally getting organized, I feel like
I have been crafting more often!  Which is a good thing:)
Sometimes I just go up there and sit and move stuff around:)

I wanted to share with you a couple of Halloween
cards I made to send out:)

I am so excited for next week to come, I hope I get a
few trick or treaters!

Here's a close up of the two larger cards.

I think this one is probably my favorite!  I love the
spiders:)

 Happy Wednesday

Halloween Tablescape!

What a crazy week but I am now ready to share with you my
Halloween table scape!  Most of the items used I had
or bought at the Dollar Tree:)  I have been finding a lot of
cute accent decorations there lately!

Here are two over view pictures of the table!
I love the skulls, I got them for $1 each and then just
hot glued orange marbles to the inside of their eyes!
I think it added just a flair to them:)

Below I just filled some purple cracker dishes with
orange marble filler things and then added a "BOO" sign
and skulls to the dish!  The BOO sign I picked up last year
at Michael's for a $1.29 after Halloween was over!

Here is a close up of the skull, you can really see his
orange eyes!

I did the same think in this dish just with an "EEK" sign!
The rat behind the dish was another Dollar Tree find:)
I think it just adds a little fun to the table!

My centerpiece is made up of crystal hurricanes, these are really
neat because the tops come off and you can use the bottoms
for candle stick holders!  I picked these up at a garage sale
last month for only a .50 each! SCORE :)  I filled the middle
hurricane with fake moss and skeleton parts!

Below is a pumpkin project that I just completed!
I bought my fake pumpkins at the Dollar Tree and then
just bought some rhinestone accent stickers at Michael's added
them to each pumpkin to give it a little flair!
I think total cost for each pumpkin turned out to be close to $2.25 which
isn't too bad!

Gotta love the bling!!

Here it is on the Halloween Table!

Well I hope you have enjoyed the post and maybe inspired
you for some Halloween decorating!

I will be linking up with the following blog parties!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Pumpkin Dollar Store Arrangement!

This past week I was at the Dollar Tree
and picked up some great supplies and decorations!
I have been trying to use supplies I already have but
as you know with any project you are always missing something:(
So here is a picture of what I started with!
The pumpkin basket was a find earlier this year a garage sale
for only $0.50!  You gotta love those finds!
The Styrofoam and moss I got at the dollar store and the
leaves and pumpkins I had left over from last year.

I wanted to use the pumpkins as floral picks so
I went to the kitchen and got out wooden kabob picks
and there you have it! I pushed them into the bottom of the
pumpkin so the pointy side would then go into the
Styrofoam!

\Below are filler balls you can get at Michael's, I had
purchased these last year and knew I would use them for
something!  I think I got them for 75% off!
Once again I pushed them onto the kabob picks
and turned them into a fun addition to the overall arrangement:)

Below is the final arrangement!
I think  I had a total of about $4.00 in it:)
Not too bad and it used up some of my stash!!

I think it matches pretty good with the sunflower picture I have in our
living room right now!
Don't you just love Fall decorating?? :)
All of the pretty colors and smells just put me in a
good mood:)

Well I hope you enjoyed the post and
maybe got a few ideas to try with some
left over craft projects!

I will be linking up with a few great blog
parties!

Stop back later this week I will
have my Halloween table scape to share with you:)

Have a great week!
