Crazy Weather & Halloween Candy Project

Happy Halloween!

I can't believe I am showing you these pictures below.
This is the snow storm that hit our area over the weekend!
We ended up with about 7-8" of snow before Halloween:(

It looks so pretty but I wish it would have come in December so
I could decorate for Christmas!! ;)

Here is a view out my living room window out to our
deck!  You can really see it piling up there on our rockers!

Happy Halloween Project!

All you really need is:
A Vase
A piece of Styrofoam
Candy Corn
Tissue Paper
& Scrapbooking Embellishments
The sticks that hold the Candy are Grilling Skewers for Kabobs!

I made this cute little guy for a little boy that helped
me out this past week at one of my Thirty One parties!  He
was so cute that night with all of those ladies and especially since
we were selling purses!

Happy Halloween & No More Snow until Thanksgiving:)

DIY Cheap Halloween Wreath!

Halloween Wreath DIY:

I love wreaths this time of year and I just couldn't find
anything that I really liked at the stores so I made on myself:)

(I forgot to included a picture of the crow in the before shot)

Total Cost for the project about: $8.00
but I did have alot of ribbion left over that
I used on other projects!

The wreath itself was a 50% off item from Michael's
and was only $2.99 :)

The ribbon was also a Michael's bargain at 40% off with an 20% off
your entire purchase the other week!

Can you tell I love Michael's!

I am still waiting for a Hobby Lobby to come a little closer!

Here is the final product:
I think the colors are fun for the Halloween Season!

Here is another wreath that I already have or I should say
my Mom gave it to me:)  Well I kind of just took it!
She really loves me!

I just added some large wire leaves and a pretty bow
that I made out of Ribbon for a nice Fall/Harvest wreath!

I am going to leave this one up to Thanksgiving!  I love
the orange and green color combination!

I couldn't help myself, I had to add this picture!
I wanted to dress up our dogs this year but when
I went back for the costumes they were gone:(

Oh well, Next Year!

Happy Halloween!

Weekend Recap!

Well this past weekend was pretty busy but a good kind of busy:)
The weather really held out and was perfect for my Customer Appreciation Bingo!

It was so much fun getting together with the girls and seeing everyone get excited
about winning Celebrating Home & Thirty One Prizes:)

Here is a picture of my garage before it was decorated!
My wonderful husband brought all of these table and chairs home and
helped me set everything up!  I just love him!
Especially since he gave up his garage for 20
girls for the evening to play bingo:)

Here is the garage decorated for a Halloween Themed Bingo Night!

Food & Drink Area

First of all let me start by saying I am not a baker but
I do love to try new recipes and goodies!
Here is the cake that I made for the party, I got the
idea and recipe off of Kraft Foods Website!

It was actually very easy to make and I don't think it turned out too
bad!  If you are looking for ideas for holiday treats check
out their website for affordable and fun recipes!

Most importantly: THE PRIZES!!!

Well since this is the final week for Halloween decorations I
moved around my dinning room again;)
I hung the hat I made off the mirror just for a little
extra decoration!

Here is my dinning room table complete with spider web
place settings and my Celebrating Home Spider
Web cupcake stand!  I just love that thing!
This month they are on sale for only $10!!

Happy Halloween!

Witches Hat!

Witches Hat Make Over!

9 Days Until Halloween:)

Above are some of the witches hat I fell in love with at Pier One
the other day but didn't really want to spend $20 on something
that I am only going to wear for a day!  I know I am Cheap:)  Or as I like
to say "Thrifty!"

So I decided to make my own version!
I got just a basic black hat at Target for only $2.50 in their Dollar Zone area,
which I might add can be dangerous for me:)  Then I just added a bow and
glued some rhinestones on that I got in a container from Michaels!

Here is how it turned out!

Not too bad for about $4:)

I will have more pictures of it from my Customer Appreciation
Party that I am having tonight at my house!

Happy Halloween!

Fall/Halloween Decorations are Up!!

Well this past weekend I have been very busy outside in my yard
getting ready for the Fall & Halloween season:)

I have had the inside of my house ready to go for about a month but
needed a little push for the outside!
Here are some pictures of my garage and front porch!

I am really happy with how it turned out and hope to add a few things as
we get closer to Halloween:)

I am having a customer appreciation night at my house
on the 22nd of this month and wanted to have everything looking nice
before my gals showed up!

If you have any ideas to share please leave me a comment......  I love ideas and suggestions:)

This is the front of our garage.
Cornstalks, pumpkins, and mums!  I love all of the colors.

Here is one of my helpers:)  Isn't he the cutest!

Here is an old bench I took apart this weekend and made into a planter.

Here is the after picture!
I think it turned out pretty good.  I just sprayed in with black spray paint
and lined the bottom so the plants would have drainage.

This is one of the Fall Wreaths I made over the weekend.
I was really in the mood to make bows, so you will see them a lot
over the next few holidays:)

Here is Halloween Wreath that I made for my party for my garage door.
I love the selection of ribbon Michael's currently has!
Buy Stock in Michael's!! I have been there a lot lately!!

Here is my other baby posing for a picture!
This is my front porch area, I think the dogs liked hanging out
here in the sun since it was such a beautiful day!

Well they were not always helping!!
Here is my Pumpkin Bandit!!

Happy Fall
