A Craigslist Find!!!

Hi Ladies!!

I hope everyone is having a great week!!

I have been so busy at work lately I haven't really had

any energy for projects in the evening or on the weekend which

makes me very sad:(  This whole work thing is really getting

in the way of my creative endeavours!! :)

I am sure my owner of my company would laugh at

that statement!!

Any who I decided to take a night off from working out and

sit on the couch with my hubby and look on Craigslist!! 

BAD IDEA!

I have been looking for a small hutch to re-do in my

kitchen area for a long time but I really don't have a lot of space

to work with and most hutches I have found

have been so pretty but they are massive pieces of furniture!!

So anyway I am on Craigslist and came across a small beautiful

hutch for only $50!!!

I was so excited that I really didn't even check and see

how far away the lady lived:(  Needless to say my

hubby and I went on a nice little road trip last Tuesday evening!

Here she is!!!

I am going to paint her black to go with the rest of my
furniture in my kitchen:)  I think it is going to be a nice
piece to show case nice dishes and fun seasonal decor:)

I am so excited!!

Hope your week is going well!! I feel like
I have been so busy and this coming weekend we will
visiting family and friends in NJ so I won't have time
to paint this weekend but watch out the following week:)

Getting Ready for St. Patty's Day!!

Wow!! what a crazy week and a half!! 
The owner of my company has been off on a knee surgery and it
has been nuts for me at work:(  This past weekend
I had a Thirty One party and didn't even leave the house on
Sunday!!!! That is kind of unusual for me, I usually make
my trip weekly trip to Michael's on Sunday when the new coupon
comes out:)
I did manage to use up some items around my house to make
this cute St. Patty's Day Wreath!
Below are a few pictures I took while working on this wreath.

I decided to go with Green & Gold!

The picture below really doesn't do it justice

because the shamrocks actually light up!

It looks cool at night!

Well I hope your week is going great!!

Low Fat Cresent Roll Ups!

This weekend I made a fast, yummy, and most importantly

low fat appetizer!!

I got this recipe idea from another blog, this lady here:

She has a great weight loss story and is doing it all over again after

having her second baby:)  She is too funny about real life and I think

she does some really great posts!

The recipe is super easy!

You will need:

(1) can of reduced fat cresent rolls

(1) package of reduced fat mozzarella string cheese

and

(1) bag of low fat turkey pepporoni

and that's it:)

All you need to do is roll out the cresent rolls,

lay 4-5 pepperonis in the middle of the roll,

cut 1 string cheese in half and then roll it

up like you would if you were making just the

cresent rolls!!

Look at these cute little guys getting ready to go in the oven!!

You will bake for the same time that is recommended on the package

of the cresent rolls which is about 10 minutes.

Here is the finished product!!
At only about 180 calories each they are a tasty

treat for a snack or a party!

I hope you will try this recipe, you won't be sorry!

What color should I paint it??

Below is a picture of a stand I would like to paint

for my guest room.  My mom is currently cleaning

out her house so that means FREE stuff for me:)

I really think this stand is pretty but the flowers are

too busy for the space I would like to use this piece in.

Listed below is also a few pictures of my guest bedroom.  I would

like to see if anyone has any good paint suggestions for the above piece
to go with the color scheme of this room.

I was thinking about an off white and then distressing it but

thought that might be too predictable:(

Valentine's Party and New Catalog Lauches!!

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Ours was very

busy but a lot of fun:)
