Silver and Purple & Silver & Blue Trees!

Well I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving and
got to spend some quality time with their families!

Over the last couple of days I have been off work on
vacation which has been AWESOME and it has allowed me
to get a bunch of projects completed and a lot of my decorations up
for Christmas and Fall themed items put away:)

This past week I have completed a silver and purple tree for
my office area and silver and blue tree for my guest bedroom.

I am really excited with how these trees have turned out!

Below is a before picture:
She is looking pretty sad :(

Sneak Peak of some of the pretty colors!

Here it is!  This tree is
is the corner of my office area.  I have this room decorated
with kind of a vintage feel so I think it goes well with the other decorations.

Below is just a close up!  One of my favorite ornaments
on this tree is the pair of silver glittery heels:) My mother-in-law
gave me this ornament last year and I love it :)

Here is a just a little swag I added to a shelf in this room
to kind of tie everything together.

Now onto my guest bedroom area!
I did this room in silver and blue with touches of green!
I really like how well the Santa matches the decorations and then
I just filled a lantern with left over bulbs for a little flair :)

Below is a picture from the door way.

Below is a picture of all of the goodies
on the tree!  I love a full tree!  Let's just
hope it doesn't fall over! :)

Gold, Green, & Leopard Tree & Garland!

Well it seems like I have been on a roll
with the garland lately and wanted to share another
finished holiday project with you:)

My dining room was gold, green, and blue last year and I really
liked it but I got an awesome deal last year on red and green bulbs
at Sam's and wanted to make my main tree those colors so I had a a lot of
left over gold and green items so I think that is going to be my theme this year!!
Yes hunny I said this year:) Love Ya!!

Any who I think I am going to re-use all of my silver and blue items
in my upstairs spare bedroom! :)

That will be a whole other post!

Last year at my work they were going to throw away this
tree so I decided to rescue it:)  It isn't perfect but it is a 6.5 foot
pre-lit tree so I decided by the time I got all of
my deco mesh, ribbon, and ornaments on it, you really couldn't
see any of its imperfections:)

Below is the before picture of the dining room.

I used gold and bronze deco mesh with leopard
and bronze ribbon.  Here is a picture once the
deco mesh and ribbon was added.
It really fills out the tree nicely.

Below is a picture of a candle ring/swag that I got on  sale
the other day at Christmas Tree Hill for only $3.99.
I thought it would be a fun addition to the top of the tree!

Here it is with our gold star we have used for a couple
of years now.  I think it make the top look full and
add some fun flair to the tree :0 )

I always like looking for different toppers or
fun elements to add to our trees.

I also added flowers.

Here is the finished product!
I think the colors really blend well with our dining room.

Here are a couple pictures of the buffet table.
I tried to incorporate the same ribbon and green
flowers into the garland.

Here is a picture of the whole table.

Just another shot of the room.

Well that is tour of the dining room tree and decor:)
I hope you enjoyed and maybe got an idea for your own tree.

Check back later this week I will have 4 more trees to
share with you!!

I will be linking up with these awesome blog parties this
coming week!

Also there is a Christmas Tree Contest happening over at A Whimsical
Christmas and I would love for you stop by a vote for your favorite tree!
I will be entering this tree in the contest:)
Voting Begins: 12/17-12/24

DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Rings & Arrangement!

First of all I would like to thank Allyson over at
No Place Like Our Home
for this great (cheap) idea!  :)
Thanks Allyson!
DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Rings
Here is what I started with:
I got the flower bunch at Michael's the other day for 90% !!
So the entire bunch of flowers $1.99
Ribbon that had in my stash
Paper Towel Tube
Glue Sticks and Scissors!

I measured the width of the ribbon and then cut the
paper towel tube slightly smaller.
Hot glue the ribbon around the ring.

Since the flowers are large, the rings didn't have to
be perfect because you won't see the top of the
ring once the flower is glued on.

Top View
I love all of the bright colors!

Below is the finished product with Napkins!
Not too bad!  Total cost for 8 rings and a table
arrangement: $2.50 :)

Here is what me my table looks like so far.
I don't have all of my chair around it yet but you
get the idea:)

Here's a close up view of one side of the table.
I love how the napkin rings tie everything together!

Now here is a close up of the flower arrangement I
made using the left over flowers and some ribbon I already
had in my craft room.

Just a few other pictures of the napkins on
the plates!

Well I hope you have the Turkey out
and you are getting ready for the big day!

I can't wait!

I have three trees upstairs decorated and everything
ready to go for Friday so I will be in full
holiday cheer mister mode then!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing you and your family a happy and safe holiday!

I will be thinking up with these awesome

Valley View Farms Inspiration!

Valley View Farms is a huge store/nursery that
goes ALL OUT for Christmas!  I could literally
spend hours in there just looking at all of there
beautiful trees!  I always leave there with so many
great ideas!!  So this year I am hoping to capitalize on getting
an early start!

I really liked this wreath display they had on a door
inside the store.  Simple but pretty!

Here is a gold and silver tree.
I love all of the ornaments they fit on their trees.

I would love to get enough ornaments
to do a tree for my husband like this
"Tee Time Tree" display, since he is a golfer!

This Jersey Shore tree made me laugh!

On the tree below I really loved the topper
but didn't get the best picture of it:(

The below tree is called
"Purple Passion"

In the below picture I love the Santa Hat Topper!
I am going to try to make one of these at some point!

They also a beautiful display of Mark Roberts Fairies
which I love!!  They are kind of expensive so I don't
have any but would love to start a collection at some point!

This is the girls night out tree!  Such a cute idea!

Another neat tree topper idea!  A snowman's hat:)

I loved the ribbon on this tree.  They actually glued
pom poms to the red ribbon!  I thought about trying this
but I don't thinks my patience would last:)

I loved this Santa!  I need one:)

We also went to another store in MD called
Watson's.  I love the  white trees with the beautiful
red cardinals.

I think this village display looks
so festive!

Well I have my silver and purple tree up and decorated:)
I went to Michael's tonight to wrap up a couple of
things I needed this week so I didn't have to go out on
Black Friday!  I usually go out for all of the good deals
on Black Friday but I think I might skip it this year!
I have a lot of my shopping finished so I think I might take it easy
and stay home and decorate:)

So are you going out shopping or are you decorating this
coming week? :)

4 days to Thanksgiving!
