Chalkboards of any kind are one my many
décor obsessions! I love how versatile they can be.
There was one I really wanted for my front porch at Hobby Lobby
but at $40 I couldn't bring myself to purchase it.
The other day I was dropping off some items at the Good Will and
came across this beauty! Now she doesn't look like much in
the picture below but she had good potential! This was a kid's chalkboard from Ikea. It had a shelf on it for your chalk but
I didn't really like how it looked so I removed it and used it for another project:) I will show that to you later!

Ok so now on to the fun part..... the finished project!
Currently being used to greet guests.

For Easter I kept it pretty simple and just added a
banner. See the possibilities are endless! I love a piece that I can
use for everyday and for every holiday!
So with a little spray paint to the frame and a re-coating
of chalkboard paint I was able to have my outdoor chalkboard
display for only $5.00! Don't you just love the Good Will ??? !!
