My New Craft Desk!

I am so excited to share with you my new craft table!
I have been wanting one of these project desks for sooooooooooo
long I finally saved up and got a great deal at Just Cabinets on
the table below!!  I think Pottery Barn wants close to $1,000 for a very similar
option!  I picked this baby up for $299 :)  Yeah!
This is not my craft room but the picture on their website.
I am still changing a few things in my room for my complete
craft room reveal:)

I should have a room tour coming up soon!
I feel so much more organized now this new table!

If you have been looking for something like this check out
Just Cabinets!! Another plus is that it is super easy to put together
and literally only took 15 minutes!
It comes in three pieces; two sides and the top!
She is pretty heavy though, I think it weighs about 140lbs!

Well here's to being organized!
Thanks for stopping by!

St. Lucia Here We Come!!

Well I excited to say we are two days away from vacation!!!!

My hubby and I leave for St. Lucia this Friday!!
We have had this trip planned for about six months and it is
finally here!

We are going to be staying at Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia.
I wanted to see if anyone had ever been there before?  I have
heard really good things about this resort so I think we will
have a great time and there is a golf course on the property:)

I hope to have a lot of pictures and scrapbook pages to share with
you when I get home:)

Here are some pictures of the resort that I got off of their website!

Here is where I will be with a good book or magazine:)

Here was the selling point of the trip for both of us!!!

Look at this beautiful golf course right on the resort:)

Well I am off to start packing!!

Can't wait to share my pictures with you!
Happy Hump Day!

Great cards to Have on Hand!!

This past Saturday night my hubby was away on a
guy's weekend:) so I took the opportunity to spend sometime in
my craft room creating a few cards.  I have a vendor fair coming up next
month and wanted to have some samples to show and
these are just good cards to have on hand if you need a quick
Thank You or Thinking of You!!  I always love getting cards in the mail
and I think a card can make someone feel special or brighten their day!

So here we go!!

I am so excited!!! One week until we leave for vacation!
Happy Friday!

The Hutch is Finally in the Kitchen!!

I wanted to share with you my Craigslist Hutch that I have in my kitchen!
It's not fancy but I do love its character and the fact that it has storage
underneath!!  It is great to keep those appliances under there that you do not
use on a regular basis, such as the toaster since we have been
on a low carb diet:)

I think it turned out pretty good.  Like I said not fancy but
it fits the style of our kitchen and gives the space some character and
storage!  I just love pieces that have storage in them!!  More places
to hide goodies!

I shouldn't even be talking about buying more goodies after this weekend!
I spent the better part of yesterday SPRING cleaning and getting
items ready for a yard sale!!

Well I hope you had a great weekend!!
Best wishes!!

April Blog Hop!!!

Oh, Baby! It's time for the Pals Blog Hop! Today the Stampin' Pretty Pals are sharing some fabulous cards and projects for babies and children that we think you'll enjoy! You've probably hopped over from http://www.stampandscrapwithsusan.com/, I'm stop number 8 on the Pals Hop and I'm glad you hopped in! I'll help you "hop along" from blog to blog where you'll find great ideas for paper projects for babies and children from the Stampin' Pretty Pals! Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track

Well since I don't have any children yet, this challange was a little more
difficult for me:)  I actually didn't even really have any stamp sets to use:(
Well maybe one day in the near future I will be working on nothing but baby pages
and cards:)  Well at least that is what our family is hoping for!
I saw a similar card to this one on another lady's website, http://www.stampthat.com/
she had used the same templete for a baby shower invite.  I really loved the idea and
since a friend of mine is having a baby girl in the next month I thought this would make
a cute card for her!
The card is 4-1/4" X 6" and to cut the legs in the dresser
I used the curly label punch!!  I just love the Stampin' Up Punches,
I think they are probably my favorite item from Stampin'Up because
they give you so many options without spending a lot of time!
The dresser drawers are made with pink brads and then popped up
with Stampin dimentionals.  I would have loved to have added a
piece of baby clothing to one of the dressers but I didn't have any stamps
with those images.  All in all I think it is a cute card idea.

Here is the inside of the card with the greeting!

Well thank you for stopping by and make sure to continue to
hop on over to all of the great blogs listed below!!  There are some really great projects
to check out!

Sunday Wrap Up!!! Low Carb Quiche & Easter Cards

I wish every Sunday could have been like this past one:)
I think as I have gotten older I really have become a home body!
Now don't get me wrong I love to travel, and look forward to day trips
and of course going shopping with my friends, but when it comes right down to
it I love being home:)
This past Sunday I made three meals in the afternoon for us to
have for dinner this week.  Since we are on a Low Carb diet it
does help planning out meals so you don't get board or tired
of eating the same old thing.
I found this low carb Bacon & Cheese Quiche recipe on Kraft's website.
I actually find a lot of recipes on there.
Below are some pictures of the Quiche!

It really turned out good!! Yummy!!

Now onto some fun Easter Cards!!
Here is a couple of cute Easter cards that I made with my
Stampin Up' Punches, Big Shot, and Stamps:)
Very Simple but Cute!

Well I hope you are getting ready for Easter!!!
So what are your plans for Easter this coming Sunday?

Happy Tuesday!!
