Easter Wreath

Happy Monday!!

I hope everyone is getting ready for Spring & Easter!

This weekend I put together a quick and easy Easter wreath using

a couple of supplies I had around the house!

Below is a wire wreath form I got at Michael's a couple of

weeks ago and never got around to using it!  I actually kind of

like these better than the garland wreaths because they don't stick out

as far in depth when you use the deco mesh.

All I did was attach pipe cleaners to the wreath and tie them in a knot.

Here is a picture of the wreath after adding the pipe cleaners.

Super easy and cheap!!

Here is the finished product!

I added a couple of Styrofoam carrots which were on sale

at Michael's for like $0.79, some ribbon, a couple of

pretty Easter eggs and the little sign in the middle

which I got at Christmas Tree Shop for $1.99:)

I think it turned out pretty good:)

This picture isn't the best, but you get the idea:)

A little bit of Easter Inside!!

Hi Ladies!!

Wow I can't believe how time flies!!

I actually got my scrapbook room finished so I hope to share

that post with you this week:)

Here are a couple of Easter decorations I was able to get up this weekend!

With Easter being early this year I thought I

better HOP to it:)

This here is just a little center piece I made with some

fun picks from Christmas Tree Shop and a cute little

bunny rabbit from Hobby Lobby.

I think this little display area turned out cute.

I actually already owned everything here so that

was great on the wallet:0)

This is one of my favorite areas to decorate

but this time I didn't go too crazy.

I just added some fun colored flowers and a

Spring Pick to the arrangement.

Well I don't know about you but I am so EXCITED

for Spring to Arrive Tomorrow!!!

The weather has been fantastic here and I

am ready for it to continue:)

It has to get Messy before it get's Pretty:)

Since it was so nice outside today I decided

to get a jump start on my painting!  So I rushed home

and drug all of my goodies out to the garage to give them a quick

coat before it started to cool off!

So in the mean time I talked my hubby into helping

me fix the holes in the scrapbook room so I am one step closer to painting:)

He is tooooo good to me:)  After moving furniture around and

messing up three rooms in the process we do have the holes fixed so maybe

tomorrow night will be sanding and Saturday will be PAINTING!!!

YEAH!!!

So if you are thinking about tackling a project don't be afraid

of the mess, it will be worth it in the long run!!

I am almost embarrassed by how much junk I have!!

Oh well it will all be worth it here in the next couple of days!!

Dreaming of Spring Dresses!

I know I am jumping the gun a little and Spring

is officially two weeks away but I am so excited for nicer weather!!

Tomorrow is supposed to be almost 65 degrees here!!

Woo hoo!!

I have started a little early on my Spring cleaning in my closet!

I just need to bite the bullet and get rid of stuff!!

Do you hang on to pieces that you haven't worn in years???

I keep thinking well I might just wear that but it never happens!

So anyway I started cleaning out my closet and realize that my style is

changing as I get closer to the number 30!  I don't think 30 is a bad number

at all and I am still 2 1/2 years away from it:)  but I do notice

that I am starting to lean towards different styles and buy

more pieces that I can use in different ways.

So where I am really try to go with this post is that I started

to look around for some new Spring items since I am cleaning out my closet

and came across some really fun and pretty dresses from

NY & Lerner which really weren't priced too bad:)

Right now everything on their site is 30% off and most of the

dresses are $39.95 so after the discount they would be close

to $30 each!

Getting Ready for Another Change in the Scrapbook Room!!

Well it has been long over due that my Scrapbook Room

get a paint job!!  Now don't get me wrong I am always changing this space because I don't think I am 100% happy with the vibe I am getting:)

That sounds terrible but I think it is true!

I believe the room is just a little too dark!

So this upcoming week I will be getting this room prepped for PAINT!!

I am so excited!!  My hubby was sweet enough to offer

to fill the holes that I put all of the place:(  Kind of looks

like Swiss cheese in some parts of the room:(

BUT all of that will be fixed in no time!

Since this room is off of our master bedroom I would like the colors

to blend well so I am actually going to paint it the same

color as the master which is a pretty gray color!

I think this gray will lighten up the space and make it

feel larger and hopefully inspire me to make some really

awesome scrapbooking pages!!

I have been on Pinterest looking for inspiration so wish me luck this week!!

Since I am on a limited budget and actually don't have as

much stuff as the other rooms above I am going to try to make

this space happen with what I already have around the house:)
